Initial Session (60 min)

During this session, we will do a full assessment to really get to know you and answer any questions you might have about working together. With your consent, we may explore your past and present relationship with food, food fears & rules, body image concerns, medical history, digestive health, exercise/movement, mental health history, stress levels, sleep patterns, and more. As a team, we will come up with a place to get started, discuss long term goals, and establish a plan that moves you toward body acceptance, food freedom and self-compassion. Faith-based nutrition counseling is available.

Follow Up Session (45 or 30 min)

In follow up sessions, we’ll check in on goals, celebrate wins, determine what is/isn’t working and assess the level of support needed to help you establish a healthy relationship with food and your body. In follow up sessions, we may spend time processing challenges or unhelpful food beliefs, unlearning restrictive eating habits and diet rules, creating structure if necessary, increasing variety and flexibility with eating, and learning how to respond to your body’s hunger and satiety cues. All sessions include goal-setting, small actionable steps, helpful resources and email support.
